Our cottages are self-catering which means we do not have staff on hand 24 hours a day. During the peak season (1st March to 31st October) there will be someone available to help in emergencies. During low Season (November – February) Reception is closed, but for help and emergencies the out of hours number is 01751 417272 or you can email info@rosedaleabbeycaravanpark.co.uk.
HOW CAN I BOOK MY HOLIDAY?
Bookings can be made online here, through e-mail at info@rosedaleabbeycaravanpark.co.uk, via telephone between the hours of 9am – 5pm on 01751 417272 or in person.
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT TO MAKE A BOOKING?
Yes, deposits are required to confirm all bookings. Cottages are a £100 deposit. For all cottage bookings, full payment is due 6 weeks before arrival.
HOW DO I CONTACT THE PARK?
For matters requiring immediate attention the park's telephone number is 01751 417272. The park's email address info@rosedaleabbeycaravanpark.co.uk can also be used for non-urgent matters.
WHAT ARE THE ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES?
Arrival Time is after 4pm please. We politely request that you do not try to enter your cottage earlier than 4pm as our housekeeper may still be working. Departure time is before 10am.
WHEN IS THE PARK OPEN?
The Holiday cottages are open all year round.
WHAT IF I AM ARRIVING LATE?
There is no need to check in at Reception on arrival, as the keys for the cottages are kept in a key safe and you will be issued with the number to access your keys on your booking confirmation. We do need your car registration prior to arrival so that you can gain access through the ANPR barrier.
WHERE IS THE NEAREST SUPERMARKET or ATM?
The nearest supermarkets and ATM’s are in Pickering or Kirkbymoorside approx. 20minutes drive away.
DO YOU HAVE A SHOP?
We have a well-stocked on-site shop selling essentials such as bread, milk, bacon, eggs, we have freshly baked pastries and breads available for pre-order. We also have a wide range of toys and outdoor games and an excellent array of camping equipment.
HOW DO WE TAKE PAYMENTS?
We are happy to accept cash payments, card payments, BACS and cheque.
DOES THE PARK HAVE WI-FI?
Yes, we have a great Wi-Fi Service provided by Voneus which is available for free in the Holiday Cottages.
CAN I BRING MY PET?
Yes, pets are welcome, there will be an additional charge, and restricted to 2 pets. We provide dog bowls so no need to pack these.
DO WE ALLOW SUPERMARKET DELIVERIES?
We do not allow supermarket deliveries on site. We would like to encourage guests to support the local shops in the village and surrounding area.
ARE THERE ANY PLACES TO EAT IN THE VILLAGE?
We are very lucky to have two pubs serving food within easy walking distance of the park. The Coach House Inn 01751 417208. White Horse Farm Inn 01751 417239. We also have Abbey Stores and Graze on the Green Tearooms in the village.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
The cottage is fully furnished, including all bedding and towels.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE KITCHEN?
All pots and pans, cutlery, crockery, and glasses are included. We also provide washing up liquid and washing up equipment including tea towels.
We provide cooking oil, and a small selection of tea bags, coffee, and biscuits to get you started.
HOW DO WE FIND YOU?
Our postcode is YO18 8SA. Please plan your route carefully as Rosedale Abbey is located in the heart of the North York Moors so mobile phone reception is inconsistent and we highly recommend planning your route beforehand and to bring a map with you.
IS THERE A MOBILE PHONE SIGNAL?
There is no mobile Reception at Rosedale Abbey so please ensure you know how to use WiFi calling on your mobile phone so that once you arrive you can log onto the Free Wifi and make calls using WiFi calling.
